Bayati for El Cajon's District 1 city council 

My name is Bayati, and I am running for the El Cajon City Council to make opportunity and prosperity more accessible in a city that has long been underinvested in. 

It is unacceptable that I am running against someone who has held the same council seat for 25 years—longer than I have been alive. Strong term limits are essential to prevent concentrated power, curb corruption, and ensure accountable leadership—making them a central pillar of our campaign.

I want our youth to grow up in a city where they are prioritized and uplifted—not marginalized. 

We are committed to creating the conditions and investments that enable your children to succeed, graduate, and build prosperous futures.

Our focus extends beyond supporting stronger high school graduation rates. We will create more pathways for college-aged young adults to connect with paid internships, fellowships, and entry-level career opportunities that provide long-term growth and professional advancement.

By empowering the youth, we will ensure that our talent remains local, strengthening our workforce and helping small businesses grow with resilience. We are determined to build high-rises, invest boldly, and make El Cajon a bustling city once again.
